About me:
Since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the art of blending ingredients to achieve unexpected results, a passion I’ve nurtured focusing my studies on materials and particularly on polymers. I’ve dedicated many years delving into research on conductive polymers for cell regeneration and as carriers for drug delivery. During this fruitful period, I had the opportunity to engage with companies interested in my research, finding great satisfaction in persuading them of the benefits of these discoveries. Since then, technical sales have been my primary focus, and to excel in this field, I complemented my expertise with business administration knowledge by pursuing an MBA in Barcelona.

My passion:
As a native of Naples, my greatest passion is pizza. Whether whipping it up at home or indulging with friends at a restaurant, I find immense joy in the culinary experience. I’m also drawn to the sea, as I’m addicted to all forms of water sports and adore pristine beaches wherever they may be found.

Career Highlights:
I thrive on working closely with clients and businesses of all kinds, finding fulfillment in understanding their needs and doing everything within my power to offer optimal and cost-effective solutions. It’s second nature for me to roll up my sleeves, slip on my safety shoes, and wear my helmet to observe manufacturing processes firsthand.

What do you like most about working at GCR?:
GCR feels like one big family, providing me with the opportunity to delve into the world of industrial plastics and develop innovative projects with significant environmental sustainability impacts. I’m energized by the opportunity to share my ideas and expertise in pursuit of our common goal: providing the best possible experience to our customers. The camaraderie and shared values among my colleagues are truly rewarding.

My Challenge at GCR
Among the various missions I undertake, my primary challenge at GCR is ensuring that every customer interaction with us is memorable. This requires meticulous planning and synchronization of key actions valued by our clients. Therefore, my focus lies in listening attentively, understanding deeply, and refining our approach based on our partners’ needs. With this insight, we aim to be proactive in addressing any situation or request, ensuring seamless service delivery.

About me:
I come from a background in Industrial Engineering. As I wrapped up my degree, I found myself captivated by the intricacies of the business world and its broader implications. I wanted to understand how the improvements I made as an engineer translated into tangible business impacts. This curiosity led me to pursue a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Management, offering me a more comprehensive understanding of the various facets of business where my engineering background could make a difference.

Passion:
One of my greatest joys is traveling and uncovering new destinations, especially those nestled amidst the mountains. Gastronomy is another passion of mine; I love experimenting with new flavors and culinary combinations. For me, food is not just sustenance but a gateway to intriguing experiences. Additionally, I thrive on sports, whether engaging in them solo or enjoying team activities with good company.

Career Highlights:
Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to hands-on environments where manufacturing processes unfold right before my eyes. I find immense satisfaction in immersing myself in these processes, understanding their intricacies, and continually striving to enhance them. As a result, my career has become intricately linked with continuous improvement methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles. These frameworks have instilled in me a relentless pursuit of refinement in every process and a penchant for challenging the status quo with fresh perspectives. Ultimately, my day-to-day motivation stems from the incremental progress made, fostering a cycle of planning, execution, measurement, and adjustment, recognizing that the initial improvement proposal may not always be perfect.

Key Account Manager

About me:
I’ve been with GCR for a solid decade now, marking it as the company where I’ve clocked the most hours. I hold a degree in Business Sciences and Business Administration and Management. During my academic journey, I embarked on an enriching Erasmus experience in France that polished my language skills in English, French, Spanish, and Catalan.

I’ve also pursued further education, earning a master’s in education and completing a Sales Management program. I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities to expand my knowledge and refine my skills in line with my interests.

Professionally, I’ve embraced diverse roles across various sectors. This diverse experience has helped me shape a coherent career path over the years. On a personal note, I used to play semi-professional football in my younger days. Nowadays, you’ll find me out on the water sailing or hitting the slopes for skiing and mountaineering adventures.

I’m also quite involved in the social scene here in Tarragona, my hometown. I’m passionate about local traditions like the Ball de Diables Tarragona and I’m a proud member of Nàstic de Tarragona. I also love to chip in during the Santa Tecla festivities whenever I can.

My passion:
I find genuine joy in striking a balance between sports, culture, and leisure, whether in Tarragona or while traveling, always infusing passion into everything I do as someone who’s constantly seeking new experiences, I enjoy a wide range of activities within these realms.

Professional Highlights:
My journey through various roles and responsibilities across different companies has revealed that Sales, particularly when approached with the utmost professionalism, is where I thrive and can leverage my strengths to continue growing.

From banking to a French multinational in sports post-Erasmus, and later transitioning to roles in Finance in Barcelona, I’ve realized my affinity lies in the industrial sector.

What do you like most about working at GCR?
On a personal level, what keeps me motivated, besides the company’s projects and values, is the opportunity to grow alongside a professional team I greatly admire. The bonds forged over years and the infusion of fresh perspectives from new hires energize me.

Professionally, having undertaken various roles within the Sales department, the chance for growth within a rapidly expanding company, where project cross-pollination offers a broad view and understanding of an industry centered on sustainability, excites me.
