GCR and ESVAMA bring recycled polyolefins and mineral masterbatches to the Nordic market
May 12, 2026 – Demand for recycled polyolefins and sustainable masterbatches across the Nordic region is growing, driven by tightening EU packaging regulations and increasing sustainability commitments from brand owners and plastic processors.
Against this backdrop, GCR Sustainable Plastic Solutions has entered into a distribution agreement with ESVAMA to bring GRANIC® and CICLIC® to plastic processors across the Nordic market.

A locally rooted partner with a strong focus on sustainable polymer distribution
“The Nordic market has strong sustainability drivers and a sophisticated industrial base. With ESVAMA’s deep local knowledge and focus on sustainable polymer distribution, we have the right partner to support potential customers in the region as they look to advance their use of recycled and lower-carbon materials.”— Jesús Santamaría, Chief Growth Officer at GCR
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Löddeköpinge, Sweden, ESVAMA is an independent distributor of polymers with an established commercial presence across the Nordic region, including dedicated sales representation in Finland. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, the company has built its reputation on speed, flexibility and a high standard of customer service.
ESVAMA’s portfolio spans polyolefins, engineering plastics, masterbatches and recycled materials, with a clear strategic orientation towards sustainable distribution and circular solutions. This alignment with GCR’s product offering and values made ESVAMA a natural fit as a distribution partner for the Nordic market.
CICLIC® and GRANIC®: recycled polyolefins and masterbatches for the Nordic market
Through this collaboration, ESVAMA will support the distribution of two core product lines from GCR’s portfolio.
CICLIC®, GCR’s portfolio of high-quality recycled polyolefins, enables plastic processors to integrate recycled content with the performance and reliability required for demanding applications, supporting both compliance targets and broader sustainability commitments.
GRANIC®, GCR’s advanced mineral masterbatch, helps plastic processors reduce virgin polymer consumption, improve processing efficiency and lower energy consumption, while supporting lower-carbon applications and maintaining or enhancing mechanical performance.
A strategic step in GCR’s European expansion
“We are pleased to begin this collaboration with GCR. Their product portfolio fits well with the direction we are working towards as a distributor, and gives us further opportunities to support customers looking for sustainable polymer solutions that are both technically relevant and commercially practical,” says Christopher Holtenfjord, Sales and Marketing Director at Esvama.
This partnership is part of GCR’s broader strategy of building regional distribution networks with specialised partners who understand local market dynamics and can deliver sustainable material solutions where processors and converters operate. Together with ESVAMA, GCR looks forward to accelerating the adoption of more sustainable plastics across the Nordics.
