Barcelona, October 7, 2025 – GCR group is proud to announce the official launch of Rexelian, an independent company created to drive the next generation of high-performance recycled compounds for the mobility, appliances, and electronics industries.

Rexelian combines the agility of a new company with the industrial strength of GCR Group’s 500,000 mT/year recycling and compounding capacity – one of the largest in Europe. Headquartered near Barcelona, Rexelian is strategically positioned at the heart of Europe’s industrial corridor to serve OEMs and Tiers with speed, consistency, and technical expertise.

Rexelian’s mission is to:

Rexelian enters the market with:

• A portfolio of high-performance PP and PE recycled compounds (PIR and PCR-based), including talc-filled grades and custom colors
• A dedicated sourcing team securing certified and traceable feedstock
• Advanced R&D and validation through the Innovation Hub, equipped for mechanical, thermal, and regulatory testing to support co-development with OEMs and Tiers
• Applications for automotive interior, exterior, and under-the-hood parts, as well as appliances and electronic casings
