Santiago Sans appointed Managing Director of GCR

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Santiago Sans as Managing Director of GCR, reinforcing our commitment to innovation, industrial excellence and sustainable growth.

Previously serving as Director of Industrial, Innovation & Technology, Santiago will now oversee the Finance, Growth, Industrial, Innovation & Technology, IT, Operations and Human Resources departments.

Leadership built on industrial and technological expertise

An Industrial Engineer with an MBA and a background in Business Administration and Industrial Organisation, Santiago brings strong technical expertise in polymers, chemistry, mechanics and automation.

Since beginning his professional career in 1999, he has held several executive positions within companies in the plastics sector, standing out for his leadership in strategic management, industrial operations, engineering, quality and R&D.

Since joining GCR in 2019, Santiago has played a key role in developing our Innovation & Technology division and, since May 2025, our Industrial division as well. His leadership has been instrumental in achieving our current quality standards, enabling access to new markets and applications, and consolidating GCR’s position as a leader in high value-added solutions within the industry, particularly in segments such as packaging, personal care and automotive.
