Quality & HSE Policy
QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
GCR bases its activity on the design, development, production and marketing of both recycled polymers and compounds and masterbatches with mineral load base.
The general standards applied for the management system development are UNE-EN-ISO
9001, UNE-EN-ISO 14001 and UNE-EN-ISO 45001 and ISCC Plus, in all their extension.
The quality, innovation and sustainability of our products and services are, for GCR, the
foundations that constantly encourage us to pursue excellence as a differential value for our
organization.
GCR continually invests in cutting-edge technological equipment to obtain effective and
efficient processes that provide us with top-quality products. Cooperation and trust with our
suppliers and customers are essential to achieve this.
Our value proposition to achieve customer satisfaction is quality and compliance with our
commitments. GCR policy is rigorously applied at all stages of product development and
production to meet our customers’ and other stakeholders’ technical and operational needs
in our value chain. Quality, prevention and continuous improvement are the objectives of all
employees in the actions carried out on a daily basis.
We focus our enthusiasm and efforts on developing environmentally efficient products that
meet the market’s and society’s expectations and needs. We are not only committed to
complying with all applicable legal requirements related to our products and our activities,
but we go one step further by adhering to additional programs such as OCS (Operation Clean
Sweep) to reduce the environmental impact of our products during their industrial process.
GCR considers it a priority to ensure that in all its activities, the necessary measures are
taken to avoid risks at source and, in those risks that are considered unavoidable, to
implement the actions required to prevent damage and deterioration of the health of our
employees and collaborators. At the same time, it is in our interest to guarantee the
protection of the materials, our installations, and the client’s goods on our premises.
The objective of the integrated management system policy is to consolidate this reality and to
this end it defines the following points as priorities:
- Plan, transversalise and synchronize the necessary resources to consolidate our
position as a European company of world reference in the sector. - To develop new, more sustainable products with better qualities to maintain our
leadership in the innovation of mineral-filled plastic additives. - Continue developing the market for recycled plastic products with high added value,
aiming to increase our recovery service for Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP). - Invest in the Innovation Hub in new technology to develop new products, processes
and services. - To foster relationships with suppliers and customers to understand and meet their
expectations and requirements by creating partnerships and a relationship of trust. - To analyze the processes and management system on an ongoing basis by regularly
monitoring the defined objectives, targets and indicators and applying concepts and
tools based on continuous improvement, with the ultimate aim of ensuring the quality
of our products. - To continue to be ecologically proactive with products 100% recyclable and
compatible with degradable agents, reducing the impact of the environmental
aspects associated with our production processes. - To make customers aware of the social benefits of our products for their
consumption, such as energy savings and reduction of CO₂ emissions. - To carry out our activity with maximum protection for the life and integrity of people,
guaranteeing the health and well-being of our employees and the communities where
we carry out our activity.
Top management is responsible for and is committed to ensuring that the integrated
management system is provided with the financial, human, technical and organizational
resources necessary to guarantee its implementation and correct operation.
The responsibility for applying the quality, environment, health and safety at work policy lies
with the top management (Codir) and its teams, delegating the coordination and execution of
the necessary actions to the areas of quality systems, environmental management and safety
and risk prevention.
